Prof. Dr. Nachimani Charde, PhD, MIEEE, wishes to publish a full book (title: Resistance Spot Welding: Fundamentals and Advanced Application) in Taylor and Francis or in Springer. The manuscript preparation cost for each chapter is about USD 1500 because we have a simulation part in addition to the experimental work to get enough data for good content. The present data is promising but not sufficient to complete the whole book, so additional experimental results are needed. This book is expected to have 10 to 20 chapters in coherence, unlike other journal formulas, which have various topics in a single edition as a book. The co-authors of a single chapter will share the cost (USD 1500) of that chapter equally. If three authors represent a chapter, then each author will have to pay USD 500 as a contribution. The paper will then be written by professionals from simulation to experimental and from mathematical to graphical needs in the resistance spot welding field. Co-authors may additionally contribute to each chapter (Mathematical derivation, simulation, electrical and electronics circuit simulation, signals interpretation and analysis, mechanical drawing and calculation, computer programming, etc.) after writing the first draft. This technique establishes coherence or connectivity between chapters. Chapter one will be used as a prerequisite for chapter two, and chapter two will be a prerequisite for chapter three, and so on. This is the REAL way of writing a technical book in the modern world, focusing on a single theme. Thus, the field of knowledge will be systematically explained, discussed, and improved by many researchers and engineers simultaneously. Since we don't want to pay for the open access fee, the book will be published under the publisher's subscription policy, and all the authors will be deserving of a royalty, no matter if it's a dollar or two. Open access documents are no longer seen as highly regarded documents, and therefore a firm decision has been reached to protect the book under the publisher's subscription policy for a long time benefit.
